Recipes anyone please im making dinner Wednesday!?

My mom is preparing for my sisters bat-mitzvah and she said she





can't make dinner this week and i have to make dinner on Wednesday





and Thursday. I need recipes for delicious deserts and dinner. Or

Well I have a few, lol.





Pesto





10 minutes





2 cups firmly packed fresh basil leaves


3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


3/4 cup olive or vegetable oil


3 cloves garlic


1/4 cup pine nuts


1. Place all ingredients in blender or food processor.


2. Cover and blend on medium speed about 3 minutes, stopping occasionally to scrape sides, until smooth.





Broccoli and Red Pepper Toss





25 minutes





3 cups broccoli flowerets


1/2 cup diced red bell pepper


2 tablespoons butter or margarine


1 garlic clove, finely chopped


1 teaspoon lemon juice


1/8 teaspoon salt


1. Heat 6 cups water to boiling in 2-quart saucepan. Add broccoli. Heat to boiling; boil uncovered 2 minutes.


2. Add bell pepper to saucepan. Boil 1 to 2 minutes or until vegetables are crisp-tender. Drain; remove from saucepan.


3. Add butter to saucepan. Cook garlic in butter over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until golden. Stir in lemon juice and salt. Return broccoli mixture to saucepan; toss to coat.





Cheesy Broccoli Bake





35 minutes





1 cup Kix庐 cereal


2 teaspoons olive oil


4 cups Green Giant庐 Select庐 frozen broccoli florets


1 tablespoon margarine or butter


2 tablespoons Gold Medal庐 all-purpose flour


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon ground mustard


1/8 teaspoon pepper


1 1/2 cups fat-free (skim) milk


1/2 cup shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese (2 oz)


1. Heat oven to 400掳F. Place cereal in resealable food-storage plastic bag; seal bag and crush with rolling pin or meat mallet. In small bowl, mix cereal and olive oil; set aside. In 1 1/2-quart casserole, place broccoli; cover and microwave on High 3 minutes. Drain; set aside.


2. Meanwhile, in 2-quart saucepan, heat margarine until melted. Stir in flour, salt, mustard and pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly with wire whisk, until smooth and bubbly. Stir in milk. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute; remove from heat. Stir in cheese until melted. Pour sauce over broccoli in casserole. Sprinkle with cereal mixture.


3. Bake uncovered 18 to 20 minutes or until hot.





Chicken Rice Skillet





20 minutes





1 tablespoon vegetable oil


1 1/4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces


2 cups water


1 tablespoon margarine or butter


1 bag (1 pound) frozen broccoli, red peppers, onions and mushrooms, thawed


2 cups uncooked instant rice


1 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon pepper


1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounces)





1. In 12-inch skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Cook chicken in oil 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink in center.


2. Add water and margarine; heat to boiling. Stir in vegetables, rice, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with cheese; remove from heat. Cover and let stand about 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.





Three Pepper Pasta





15 minutes





4 cups uncooked farfalle (bow-tie) pasta (8 ounces)


1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil


2 small green bell peppers, cut into 1/4-inch strips


1 small red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips


1 small yellow bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch strips


4 cups tomato pasta sauce (any variety)





1. Cook and drain pasta as directed on package.


2. While pasta is cooking, heat oil in 10-inch nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook bell peppers in oil about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until crisp-tender.


3. Stir pasta sauce into peppers. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Serve over pasta.





Meatloaf





I did that the other day, added onion, green peppers, red peppers, orange peppers, yellow peppers and a jalapeno. I also added crackers, 2 garlic cloves cut fine, Worcestershire sauce. You can add less and only the green pepper.





Mashed potatoes I have a few:

* 6 Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered (you can use other brand of potatoes)


* 5 slices bacon


* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


* 6 medium mushrooms, sliced


* 1 medium onion, sliced


* 2 tablespoons butter


* 2 tablespoons ranch dressing

DIRECTIONS





1. Add potatoes to a large pot of water and bring to a boil. Cook until the potatoes are soft, about 20 minutes.


2. Meanwhile, place the bacon slices in a large skillet over medium heat, and cook until crisp. Remove to paper towels.


3. Wipe out the skillet, return to stove, and pour in vegetable oil. Stir in mushrooms and onion, and cook until onion is soft and translucent.


4. When the potatoes are done, drain water, and place potatoes in a large bowl. Mash in butter and ranch dressing. With a potato masher or electric mixer, continue to mash until the potatoes are smooth. Stir in the mushrooms, onions, and crumbled bacon.





Potatoes





2 lb potatoes


salt and pepper


1/2 cup 1/2 and 1/2


4 ounces, 1/2 cup garlic and herb cheese


3 tablespoons chopped chives, thinly sliced





Smash potatoes w/1/2 and 1/2 and garlic and herb cheese. Smash and incorporate chives. Add salt and pepper to your taste.





Steak





1 teaspoon garlic powder


1 teaspoon onion powder


1 teaspoon parsley


1/2 teaspoon oregano


Olive Oil





You mix it all together I put it on a plate and then placed the steak on it each side. Then cooked, he loved it! Make sure you don't reheat the steak, like if you want it med well, and its med rare and you reheat it takes some of the flavor away.

dinner:burger


1 medium red onion, sliced


1 pound lean ground beef


1/2 teaspoon onion powder


1/4 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper


12 to 15 small potato rolls, split in 1/2


Mustard sauce, recipe follows


Directions


Preheat a flat top grill pan to high heat.





Add sliced onion to grill pan and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.





In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, onion powder, salt and freshly ground pepper. Make burgers equal in size, about 2-inches across.





Cook burgers on the flat top for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Serve on split rolls with grilled onions and mustard sauce.





Mustard Sauce:


3 tablespoons mayonnaise


1 tablespoon Dijon mustard


1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper


Salt and freshly ground black pepper


Mix all ingredients in a mixing bowl





dessert: INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)


1 cup semisweet chocolate chips


4 tablespoons butter


1/2 cup sour cream


1 teaspoon vanilla extract


1/4 teaspoon salt


2 3/4 cups confectioners' sugar





DIRECTIONS


Melt chocolate and the butter together. Let cool and blend in the sour cream, vanilla, and salt. Gradually add the confectioner's sugar until the frosting is of spreading consistency, beat well.
