WHAT IS A QUICK AND SIMPLE RECIPES FOR A CHICKEN DINNER? THE BASIC BAKED, FRIED, BBQ, GRILLED, VEGS...........?

How about a nice chicken casserole? Here are the ingredients and directions:





1 1/2-2 lbs. boneless, skinless chicken breast


1 cup sour cream


1/2 cup hot water


1 can cream of chicken soup (we like the one with herbs in it by Campbell's)


2 sleeves of Ritz crackers


1 cup of frozen, mixed veggies


2 TBSP of butter/margarine


salt, pepper, any other seasonings to taste





**Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.





1. Cut up chicken into bite-size pieces and cook in a frying pan with 1 TBSP of butter and the seasonings.


2. In a casserole dish, crush one sleeve of the Ritz crackers onto the bottom of the dish.


3. Melt 1 TBSP of butter in the microwave and pour over the crackers.


4. Spoon the chicken over the crackers.


5.. In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the can of soup, water, and sour cream.


6. Pour over the chicken.


7. Spoon the frozen veggies over the mixture.


8. Top with the 2nd sleeve of crushed Ritz crackers.

Southern Fried Chicken





Ingredients





1 (3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces


1 cup all-purpose flour


salt to taste


ground black pepper to taste


1 teaspoon paprika


1 quart vegetable oil for frying








Directions





Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Roll in flour.





Add 1/2 to 3/4 inch oil to a large, heavy skillet. Heat to approximately 365 degrees F (185 degrees C). Place chicken pieces in hot oil. Cover, and fry until golden, turning once, 15 to 20 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Roasted (baked) Chicken with Veggies





Ingredients





1 (3 pound) whole chicken, giblets removed


salt and black pepper to taste


1 tablespoon onion powder, or to taste


1/2 cup margarine or butter, divided


3 stalks celery, leaves removed, cut in 2 inch pieces


5 red potatoes, quartered


1 onion, chopped


4 large carrots, cut in 2 inch pieces


1 lemon, quartered








Directions





Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).





Place chicken in a roasting pan, and season generously inside and out with salt and pepper. Sprinkle inside and out with onion powder. Place 3 tablespoons margarine/ butter and the quartered lemon in the chicken cavity. Arrange dollops of the remaining margarine/butter around the chicken's exterior. Place cut vegetable in baottom of roasting pan, place chicken on top.





Bake uncovered 1 hour and 15 minutes in the preheated oven, to a minimum internal temperature of 180 degrees F (82 degrees C). Remove from heat, and baste with melted margarine and drippings. Cover with aluminum foil, and allow to rest about 30 minutes before serving.

Marinated Grilled Chicken





Ingredients





4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves


1 (16 ounce) bottle Italian-style salad dressing


1/4 teaspoon lemon pepper


salt to taste








Directions





Rinse chicken and pat dry. Place in a shallow glass bowl and pour 1/2 bottle of salad dressing over it. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.





Lightly oil grill and preheat to medium high.





Remove chicken breasts from marinade. Season with lemon pepper and salt to taste. Grill over medium high heat for 10 to 15 minutes on each side, or until chicken is cooked through and juices run clear.WHAT IS A QUICK AND SIMPLE RECIPES FOR A CHICKEN DINNER? get some italian bread crumbs and dip the chicken in milk and eggs then coat with the crumbs. put in the oven at 350 for about an hour. or get a whole chicken and stick a beer inside it put it on the grill for about 3 hours on low heat and you got delicious drunk chicken. as for veggies trow some fresh veggies on the grill or in the oven until tender and a litlle chard and there you go
just rinse the chicken and roll in all purpose flour.. put in hot grease and turn every 10 minutes.. wahlah, southern fried chicken...





for veggie, can of corn, chopped tomato, a little red onion chopped.. add mayo (just a bit) and mix... and a dash of sugar and salt and pepper... mix again.. yummy
